Huauchinango, Pue .- "A dish of tradition is much more than a symbol, is the story of our people, our roots and pride of our people, "said the president of SMDIF Lilian Guadalupe González Cabrera during the contest Municipal Chiles in Walnut Sauce.
Under the City Festival, celebrating 149 years of Huauchinango de Degollado, held in the plaza center, this important contest in coordination with the Chamber National Restaurant and Food Industry Spicy (CANIRAC) and the Municipal DIF System.
This event was attended by President municipal Rogelio López Angulo, the lord Artemia González Sosa, the president of Tourism Council, Santos and Monica Lazcano SMDIF director, Adriana Mejía Duarte.
About 11 participants presented their dishes with family recipes, some such as the Family Castelán Monroy, with a recipe over 50 years.

The award was given to third with 108 points to Emma Herrera Vazquez second with 109 points, went to Lilia Vázquez Bones and first place with 114 points, Edna Aguilar Ramírez.
